Pilot Project

Early Fire Detection in Mountain Forest Reserve

Description

In collaboration with the Regional Forestry Department, Firepost deployed a fully integrated fire detection system across a 12,000-hectare forest reserve prone to seasonal wildfires. The project focused on early threat identification in hard-to-reach mountainous terrain, ensuring timely alerts and coordinated response between forestry units.

Using strategically placed towers equipped with AI-powered thermal and optical cameras, the system monitors vast, elevated zones 24/7. The web-based portal gives forestry personnel real-time visual access, automatic smoke and fire detection, and pinpoint incident mapping for fast mobilization.
